Ieva Baltmiskyte is selling a fourteen-course theorbo by Carlo Cecconi, built in 2008.

The instrument has a fingerboard string length of 76 cm and diapasons of 145 cm, the proportions of a Roman-style theorbo well suited to continuo playing.

The spruce soundboard carries three carved rosettes arranged in a trefoil, above a bridge with fourteen single strings tied on. The bowl is built from ribs of a dark-toned wood separated by light fillets, and the long neck is veneered to match. The fingerboard is ebony with tied gut frets, and the diapasons run to the extended upper pegbox. A soft case is included.
