The Excelsior sets belong to Pyramid’s Semi-Pro series of classical guitar strings, made in Bubenreuth (Germany).
The trebles are rectified nylon: ground after extrusion; Pyramid speaks of clean vibration and true fifths. The basses are silver-plated copper wound on nylon silk.
All sets are calculated for a 65 cm scale. Pyramid makes the series in five tensions, from very low to extra hard; at Cuerdas Pulsadas you will find the low, medium and high tension sets.
