Aquila D 2.40

Aquila D strings have a Nylgut® multifilament core, stable in humidity, wound with copper wire. They are designed to limit the harsh, metallic overtones of ordinary wound strings, and are used for lute basses. The number is the equivalent gut diameter (1.40 D sounds like a 1.40 gut string).
